But with Great Mercies

In the word Isiah 54-7 says, “But with great mercies I will gather you.” In the wokeness of these days, our God still calls us up every morning, like the good shepherd he is. He steps to the edge of the pasture of our days and calls, “Come unto me, all you who labor and I will give you rest.” His sheep hear his voice, heads & hands raise up and we come, offering the tribute of praise.

His words drift into the cracks of those who have fallen away, “Return to me and I will return to you. You have forsaken me days without number. Come Back!! I still love you! Come Back!! I’ll Wait For You!! Come Back!! All will be forgiven! O Come back!!

(prayer) Thank you Lord that you call me up, feed me, and count me every morning. amen & amen
